My research bridges high-fidelity simulations and experiments to understand wave–structure interactions and advance floating wind energy technologies.
I am an Assistant Professor at DTU Wind and Energy Systems and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow. My work sits at the intersection of ocean physics, numerical methods, and offshore engineering — advancing the accuracy of floating wind energy systems.
I develop novel CFD frameworks coupling OpenFOAM, OpenFAST, and MoorDyn that bridge the gap between computational prediction and physical reality — validated through tank experiments across Europe.
EU Marie Curie Individual Fellowship — advancing high-fidelity CFD for floating offshore wind turbines in extreme sea conditions. Coupling OpenFOAM, OpenFAST and MoorDyn for fully-resolved wave-body-mooring dynamics.
Beyond research, I am deeply committed to developing the next generation of ocean and wind energy engineers — through courses, summer schools, international workshops, and hands-on mentorship.
